Linevera

Terms & Acceptable Use

Linevera — operated by JDWeb · Effective April 28, 2026

By using Linevera (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you administer Linevera for a business, you also agree to enforce these terms with each user you provision an account for.

1. The Service

Linevera provides a hosted business phone line with calling, SMS/MMS messaging, and voicemail features. Calls bridge through your phone's existing carrier; messages route through licensed messaging carriers (currently VoIP Innovations).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and lawfully able to enter into agreements in your jurisdiction. The Service is intended for business and professional use; personal use is permitted only at the discretion of the operator who provisioned your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service for any of the following. Any of these is grounds for immediate suspension or termination of your account by your administrator or by JDWeb directly. Many of these are also strict requirements of US carrier law and the carrier networks (CTIA, 10DLC, TCPA, CAN-SPAM); a violation by you can result in your business line being shut down by the carrier, sometimes without notice.

3.1 Consent and unsolicited messaging

3.2 Prohibited content (SHAFT and beyond)

You will not send messages, in any volume, that contain or promote:

3.3 Identification and transparency

3.4 Volume and rate limits ("typical consumer operation")

The CTIA Messaging Principles define typical consumer operation as roughly:

Lines that exceed these thresholds are increasingly likely to be filtered or blocked at the carrier. If your use case requires higher throughput, contact us — you'll need a registered 10DLC campaign and explicit carrier approval.

3.5 No reverse engineering / abuse of infrastructure

Heads up — the carrier can shut you down. Even if we don't notice a violation, the upstream messaging carrier monitors for spam, SHAFT content, and unhonored opt-outs. They can suspend or revoke your DID with little or no notice if your traffic looks abusive. Reading and following Section 3 isn't optional — it protects you and the rest of the platform.

4. Fees and billing

Linevera is billed by your administrator's account with JDWeb. Per-message and per-minute fees pass through from the underlying carriers. Unusual usage (very high volume, international destinations, premium numbers) may incur surcharges; you'll be notified in advance where possible.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no guarantee of 100% uptime. Calls and messages depend on the underlying carrier networks, which we don't control. We perform routine maintenance during off-hours (10pm–6am US Eastern) and will minimize disruption.

6. Termination

Your administrator may terminate your account at any time. JDWeb may terminate accounts (or whole tenants) that violate these terms or that the carrier flags for abuse. Upon termination your data is retained per the Privacy Policy's retention rules; opt-out records are retained indefinitely as required by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email to administrators.
